With global clients such as TNT, Rio Tinto, BP, BG Group and O2, Jacaranda has over two decades' experience of shooting films all over the world.
When shooting in countries as diverse as South Africa, Alaska, China, Madagascar, Australia, Ethiopia, Namibia, Peru, Brazil, Russia or South America, not only must film crews be able to continue to function as a team no matter what is thrown at them on location, but the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes before a camera even begins to roll is enormous.

"It is crucial to know exactly what is required by each country both before we get there and during our stay," says producer Vicky Steele. "Over the years we have learned how best to manage anything from administrative details such as visa applications, filming permission, innoculation certificates and letters of invitation to cultural mores, diverse health and safety issues, weather conditions and what to do if equipment should malfunction in the middle of nowhere."
Our crew in BeijingJacaranda's extensive network of contacts across the globe enables the film teams to respond swiftly to any unforeseen issues that may arise such as health, equipment, political and even weather.
Vicky Steele - Producer"You have to be able to think on your feet in this job," continues Vicky. "In all the years I've been working all over the world with Jacaranda, I can honestly say that we've never been beaten by any of the unforeseen dramas that have occurred, from air strikes in Brazil to power cuts in South African mines and dealing with bullish local officials."

Post production, Jacaranda's years of experience with translating ensure that not only is the client's original version not open to misinterpretation, but also that nothing is lost in translation.
