The Standards Board oversees the conduct of Local Councils throughout the country and has been a client of Jacaranda's since 2002. The new film, 'Going Local: Investigations and Hearings' is aimed at monitoring officers and members of Standards Committees throughout the UK and will form part of their professional ethics practical training.

The film aims to provide an accessible guide to enable local investigations and hearings to be carried out successfully. It includes best practice tips and uses a fictional case study to guide members through the various stages of a local investigation and to train them in the necessary practical procedures.

Jacaranda designed and replicated DVD copies to be distributed to local councils in January.
