



Jacaranda has been commissioned by South West Trains, the U.K’s largest Train Operating Company, to produce a short inspirational film to introduce the concept of Right Time Railway – with which SWT, working in partnership with Network Rail are introducing ambitious new punctuality targets across their franchise.
SWT recently reached the highest ever PPM (Public Performance Measure) figure for a single period of 93.5%. The company is now performing above the levels set out in its passenger charter and won the Passenger Operator of the Year at the National Rail Awards 2005 and the Rail Business of the Year Award 2006.
But the company is now ready to take the challenge and reach the
next level - because SWT passengers expect and deserve more. The only
way to do this is to aim for a Right Time Railway.
This is an inspiring and energetic ambition to be backed up by a comprehensive
internal communications plan for all SWT employees. The training will
include a series of one day courses for managers to enable them to
cascade the messages to front line staff. The video will form a key
part of this training.
Jacaranda has worked with SWT for over five years, most recently producing the video ‘Every Second Counts’ which also focused on timekeeping across the network.
