The Barclays Chairman’s Awards recognize individuals or groups of people who have made a real and lasting impact on their local community, colleagues and customers, with Barclays support.. The 10 x 60 second films tell compelling short stories that describe, through the words of the winners themselves, the passion and commitment behind these projects. They are designed to celebrate the achievements of key individuals and bring to life the practical reality of what ‘building strong and inclusive relationships with our customers, colleagues and the communities in which we operate’ really means.

With winners spread across three continents, the Jacaranda production team worked to an incredibly tight timescale. Three crews filmed simultaneously in Asia, Africa and Europe, all under conditions of strict secrecy as the award winners were embargoed until the ceremony. Editing then took place using Jacaranda’s four broadcast quality non-linear suites.

The finished films were initially shown at the prestigious event on June 15th attended by Barclays senior management, charity organizations and other external stakeholders. Subsequently they have been made widely available throughout Barclays for both internal and external use.
