Barclays annual Chairman’s Awards, hosted by Chairman, Matthew Barrett, have taken place for the last ten years. The awards recognize individuals or groups of people who have made a real and lasting impact on their local community, colleagues and customers, with Barclays' support.
Winners will have demonstrated passion and ongoing commitment and used creative ways to address local community needs. Their work both raises the profile of Barclays and develops them personally as an individual or a team.
Last year, Jacaranda -as one of five preferred video suppliers to Barclays - helped to raise the profile of the awards by producing a series of short films about the projects- shown at the prestigious event attended by colleagues, charity organisations and other external stakeholders. The films went on to be recognised as 2006 IVCA Clarion Awards winners.
Using our unique global experience, we are delighted to once again take on the logistically challenging task of producing material for this year's awards - filming globally within an incredibly tight schedule.
Although the films will first be shown at the Awards event, our brief is also to produce material that will have a life beyond this. A good example of the ongoing value of this material is a re-cut of last year’s films which helped the team to secure increased funding from the Board for 2007.
