



On Saturday 3rd June 2006, Producer Vicky Steele collected 6 International creative awards in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, at the 39th US International Film and Video Festival, on behalf of UK production company, Jacaranda.
With more than 1,400 entries from over 30 countries, Jacaranda is delighted to have won awards for four of its UK Government and multinational clients.
'BP Helios Award - Green', showing BP people around the world exemplifying the company's environmental values won a Silver Screen Award.
"Eatwell", a public information film on healthy eating, produced for The Food Standards Agency, won a Silver Screen Award.
The training drama, "Investigations and Hearings", produced for The Standards Board for England also received a Silver Screen Award.
Produced for global mining company, Rio Tinto, 'Quebec Madagascar Minerals' documents QMM's sustainable environmental and community initiatives in the Fort Dauphin area of Madagascar, as they pursue the development of a coastal ilmenite mine. This won the prestigious Gold Camera Award in the category of Corporate Communications.
Shot on location at mining sites around the world, 'Shared Vision' is a global quarterly magazine programme seen by Rio Tinto's 36,000 employees via webstreaming or on DVD. 'Shared Vision' won a Silver Screen Award, which is the series' 8th international creative award.
The third award for Rio Tinto was for, '2005 Annual General Meeting opener', a visual montage of the company's achievements throughout the year, which was awarded a Certificate for Creative Excellence.
Jacaranda were joined at the Awards Ceremony by Jennifer Russo from the Resolution Copper Company, part of the Rio Tinto group, who was delighted by the international creative recognition the groups commissions had achieved.
