


Four
awards were presented to Jacaranda at a high profile ceremony held
in Los Angeles in June. Jacaranda has a history of success at the
U.S. Festivals since first entering the awards in 2003. The 2007 wins
bring the running total to an impressive seventeen in five years for
clients as diverse as Barclays, BP and the Food Standards Agency.
The four awards this year include a highly prestigious Silver Screen
Award for the Rio Tinto "Partnerships" film in the PR Category.
This success was swiftly followed with a double win at the AVPA Awards in Melbourne this month, bringing our tally there to 7 awards in the past three years. The awards were for a story about a research partnership with the Great Barrier Reef in Rio Tinto's internal video magazine "Shared Vision", and for Rio Tinto's new corporate image film "Diverse People, Places and Products".
