


On Thursday 31st January 2008, the 51st Anniversary for the New York Festivals International Film & Video Awards recognised "The World's Best Work" in informational, educational and industrial film productions and corporate video.
With a judging panel of outstanding international award winning creatives, each recognised as leaders in their respective fields, the 2008 awards were presented to hundreds of finalists during an evening gala ceremony held at the Tribeca Rooftop Penthouse, New York City.
Yet again Jacaranda added to its growing list of international creative awards coming away with six more 'World Awards', including two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze for their recent work for Rio Tinto, BT and the Ministry of Defence.
Jacaranda's work for Rio Tinto has won 10 New York Festivals awards to date, including two Gold medals for the production of 'Diverse People, Places and Products' outshining the competition and clinching gold for 'Best Graphics', and gold for 'Best Company & Meeting Opener'. A Silver 'World Award' went to Jacaranda's continued work on "Shared Vision 19" for best Employee Magazine format.
For the MOD's Joint Services Adventurous Training Scheme, Jacaranda won two medals for two new categories. A Silver World award for pioneering camera work and a Bronze award for PR and recruiting.
The final tribute amongst the Jacaranda accolades for the 2008 Awards saw deserved recognition for one of their new clients, BT, awarded with a Bronze medal.
